Toshiba Satellite A665D-S6075 15.6-Inch LED Laptop

Toshiba Satellite A665D-S6075 15.6-Inch LED Laptop (Fusion X2 Finish in Charcoal) (Personal Computers)
Overall, I was very satisfied with this purchase. It was an extremely competitive computer for the pricepoint, especially with the Christmas deals. The graphics card wasn't everything I hoped for, but it still beats my old desktop, and will be perfect for medium level gaming for years. The triple core processor is rather fast, as is the 4gb of ram. However, the backlit keyboard is basically a lie. They have useful media control buttons on the top that are lit, but the keys themselves are not illuminated. Not too big of an issue though. Don't expect too much reverse compatibility though. Windows 7 64bit plays most games and 64 bit applications fine, but some of my favorites remain nonfunctional. And attempting to install XP for dual booting is not at all easy. But this is just the nature of the operating system, and no fault of the laptop. The power cord could have better placement, as it comes out of the computer on the top right, right next to the DVD tray and alway gets the tray stuck. The power cord is very loose and falls out of the wall and converter easily. Despite all that, it delivers in most of the ways I wanted it to, namely: graphics and processing POWER. Despite quirks, I am satisfied with my purchase.

Like the tittle say, it was a good choice. This laptop works very well, the keyword is "spacelly", on the 15.6 inch LED screen you can notice the diferent between a "regular or normal screen like LCD" and this one. Nowadays i haven't tested games yet or see some movies, only HD videos and works great! The laptop comes with a aplication named "Eco plan" that can give you the oportunity to reduce the energy consumption (green point). The i5 and 4gb ram seems to be "enough" for medium users like me, but sure for gamers the 4gb ram must be a problem.
